A member of the association's board was placed in police custody for insulting a lawyer while he was filing a complaint against his ex-wife, who has been depriving him of the bond with his son and of the exercise of his right of supervision as legal guardian for more than a year.
We stress that this member is under considerable psychological pressure because of the prolonged deprivation of any bond with his son, despite the many legal steps he has taken and the association's support, which led to the issuing of a national search notice and to the ex-wife being brought before the prosecutor, as well as a complaint on the same matter filed with the Presidency of the Public Prosecution in Rabat on 29 July 2024.
We express our full solidarity with him and with all the fathers and children deprived of one another — a deprivation that causes intense stress and serious psychological and physical disorders that can lead to the irreparable.
