Months before the official founding of the Moroccan Association for the Defence of the Rights of Fathers and Children, the "Sos Papa Maroc" page was already supporting fathers deprived of the bond with their children. Among these testimonies, a video posted on 19 February 2023 documents a visiting day for which a father had travelled from another city, only to find the door closed to him, despite the presence of a court bailiff and police officers.

A judgment rendered… and left unenforced
The paradox in this case is that the courts had already ruled: a one-month suspended prison sentence and 10,000 dirhams in damages had been handed down against the ex-wife for her repeated manoeuvres to circumvent the visiting order. And yet, according to the video, the obstruction continued that very day: the door was opened neither to the father nor to the bailiff accompanied by the police.
This case, documented months before the association's official founding, sums up exactly why it exists today: a court judgment alone is not enough when there is no effective mechanism to enforce it — which is precisely what the association's memorandum asks for, calling for a single notification and enforcement of the visiting order, instead of refighting the same battle at every appointment.
