On 29 July 2023, in Rabat, the Kingdom's capital, the constitutive general assembly of the Moroccan Association for the Defence of the Rights of Fathers and Children was held. The association's second page, "Sos Papa Maroc", documented that moment with a video recording of the opening address given by the vice-president and secretary general to the founding members.

From Facebook pages to a registered association
As the vice-president has since recounted in several media interviews, this day was not the start of the story but its official milestone: months earlier, several fathers deprived of the bond with their children had met online, on Facebook pages where they shared their experiences, until the announcement of the royal reform of the Family Code pushed them to turn this online gathering into a formal association. This video is the direct record of the moment that happened, officially, in Rabat.
